How do you pose?
Truly, I read the room. I like to see and photograph the moments as they are, and will of course provide natural guidance and posing suggestions that fit your style. Images are more guided than posed.
Is film imagery used?
My edits are film-influenced. Most of your images will be digital to ensure reliable, comprehensive coverage. If film images are taken, they will usually be on 35mm or medium format film.
As an artist, where do you get inspiration?
I’m fortunate to be in San Francisco where unique architecture is abundant and constantly catching my eye. There is a hint of Paris charm here, which I love as someone who studied art history. Even stories of art theft keep me on my toes — it’s all a part of the narrative.
We have too many ideas, or not enough. How do you help?
All we need is authenticity. I find that the most powerful images come from moments when you are true to who you are. With your wedding, the design and guest experience will be well-planned, a stylish framework for me to photograph beautiful interactions without pretense.
Do you have experience with multicultural weddings?
Yes! Many of my clients are planning fusion weddings, and I use the imagery to honor tradition while focusing on what matters to the couple.
No homework or questionnaires are required. I am available for calls and update meetings, but most often, I connect with your planner to prepare.
